Position Maintenance Assistant
Introduction
A vacancy has arisen for a Maintenance Assistant at Life Springs Parkland Hospital, reporting to the Engineering Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for assistance in maintaining activities of electric and air conditioning systems, plumbing, structural improvements and general maintenance.
Critical Outputs
- 1. The maintenance worker will be responsible for conducting all duties allocated by the maintenance manager, maintenance planner, and maintenance officers.
- 2. They must have experience in SAP plant maintenance job card system as well as electrical maintenance, faultfinding, and repairs.
- 3. Furthermore, they will be responsible for daily electrical inspections and checks on all electrical systems including UPS generators, vacuum pumps, air compressors, and air conditioning systems.
- 4. Additionally, they will need to have knowledge in hospital TV reticulation and faultfinding systems as well as nurse call systems.
- 5. Finally, the ideal candidate will also have general experience and knowledge in plumbing and water reticulation systems along
Requirements
- Required: Grade 12 or N3
- Experience in hospital maintenance (advantageous)
- Experience with electrical work, building, plumbing, carpentry, welding or tiling (advantageous)
- Willing to work overtime
